Who Knew??

OK so for the past few years, since the kids at least. I have battled acne. BAD acne the kind that would make you wake up in the morning and think that you should get ready for Middle School. And I used Proactiv, mainly becuase I thought that I would wake up looking like Jessica Simpson, Nathan hoped so too. Or at least Jennifer Love Hewitt. Well after a couple o years, it stopped working and there I was AGAIN Zits and more Zits.

So for my birthday this year I did my research and decided that for my 32nd birthday I wanted Laser Hair removal. Also in the process of getting older-I have turned into a monkey. Lovely-I know. So I am going to the Anti Aging Body and Face. Diring my consult they mention taht hey can do something for my acne scaring and my dark spots from sun as well as my scar from steph.

So last week I started my Laster hair removal. If you are a monkey like me, go and do it, save up. But it does not hurt and I think it will be totally worth it. And today-The skies opened up and TA DA I did a chemical peel and microdermabrasion.

I cannot tell you how nice my skin looks. I feel like I don't have to wear my make up-well today I did not wear my make up and NO ONE ran from me in the street yelling MONSTER.

And the lady (you know the lady that has the degree in making people pretty) Yep that one. I noticed that her skin was smooth, pretty, clear, and not wrinkled. Well aside from the fact that she is younger than me, she does BOTOX. Holy moly! It lasts for 3 to 4 months and she said that she does it at her age to PREVENT wrinkles. PREVENT?? Heck I have them already! So no you do not have to look the Housewives of the OC after you do Botox.

Anyway. It is nice to know that as you get older there are people out there that have really long job titles that will help you not look like my thigh in pantyhose-well at least not my face.

Smooches! with my recently enhanced lips, if you could see me now.

Last Day of Kindergarten!

Ethan and John are done with Kindergarten. They had such a wonderful year. They both had GREAT teachers. And no matter how CRAZY life was at home. Think-Nathan head injury and losing Dad-my kids did so well. They are both troopers and ready to march on to First Grade. A tear is in my eye. What happened to my two little babies??

Remember Memorial Day

Off we go into the wild blue yonder

Climbing high into the sun

Hoere they come, zooming to meet our thunder

At 'em boys

Giver 'er the gun

Down we dive

Spouring our flame from under

Off with one hell-uv-a-roar

We live in fame

Or go down in flame

Hey! Nothing'll stop the US Air Force

Pictures that were added......

I thought that I would comment on the randomness of the pics that I added.
John is holding my Uncle's new puppy.
The ceiling is the lake house-it is still under construction. Just a little longer.
Then there are pics of the kids at one of their last soccer games. They had such a good season and we play on the best -christian centered- soccer program.
The final pics are each of the kids DRIVING their Daddy T's lawn mower. I have never heard of a six year old driving a lawn mower but hey there they are.

So-I am so glad that I am blogging again. Although I think that it may be short lived-summer break is coming and that means that I will be on Mommy duty FULL TIME again.

You know. I was at the kids school and I realized ( you always reflect once you are out of the trenches.) that it has been a pretty hard year for my family. And I am so proud of my kids. They have hung in there adjusted well and are moving on to the First Grade.

I am one proud mama.
Til again

Sally Turned 65!

Mom TURNED 65!

We had the BEST day! We also celebrated by mother in law's birthday. We had pedicures, lunch and then I took mom to look for some things for the addition to the lake house. We had the best day. Thanks to Katie for coordinating it and thanks to all the girl for helping to make my mom feel extra special!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!

Saturday Soccer Fun

Today we had a soccer game. They are really good little soccer players. They are not scared of the ball and are really learning the fundamentals. We have enjoyed watching them this season.
